MINI & MOKE REAR WHEEL BEARING KIT- NON GENUINE [GHK1548MS]

The Mini Cooper S was equipped with very heavy duty tapered roller wheel bearings; these can be used on any Mini. Kit includes inner and outer bearings with built in bearing spacer, seal, split pin and grease pack.

If you are into preventative maintenance, then the tapered bearings are much easier to remove and re-pack than the ball bearing type. Stronger design, plus easy maintenance means they will last longer than the rest of the car.

Tech note: If your wheel bearing locks up, it is due to the shoulder in the hub being worn. If shoulder is less than 11.87mm (0.467″) then hub might need replacing, bearing spacer might need machining down or a shim GHK1548SHIM might need to be fitted behind one of the cups to achieve correct play.
